In 1991, Hammer Express was established as a small carrier with only one truck. Today, we operate 40+ units between our local and road operations. In addition, we have hired and maintained a substantial fleet of owner-operators.

Locally, we provide door and cross-town services in the Chicagoland area seven days a week. In addition, Hammer Express's road fleet operates five-six days a week in 12 mid-west states -- including but not limited to Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.

Hammer Express is a Bonded Drayman, and Haz-Mat Certified locally and on the road (check availability). Our equipment pool can provide Tri-Axles and have full access to all IEP provided chassis, including but not limited to COCP, DCLI, and Trac Lease.

Our operations and accounting functions are fully automated, utilizing EDI technology. In addition, Hammer Express is updating to full website integration, allowing customers to check load status, view and print documents, rates, e-mail, and more right from our website. This integration enables our customers' private access to operations for instant information.
